Our Learn to Play Clinics are designed to:

  • Introduce new players to the game of lacrosse in a non-threatening, yet competitive environment.
  • Fundamentals of the sport are taught through drills and games, making it challenging and FUN for all skill levels.
  • No equipment necessary! Players will only need to have a lacrosse stick making this a cost-effective way to introduce your child to the great game of lacrosse.


CLINIC DETAILS:

  • Open to BOYS & GIRLS, Grades K to 8th
  • Sunday afternoons:  Time TBD
  • 8 Weeks of Instruction
    • Each Session runs 1 hour and 15 minutes
  • Fitzgerald Field
  • Cost $100 Registration Fee + US Lacrosse Membership

Q) Why do I need a US Lacrosse number?

A) US Lacrosse Numbers are required for insurance purposes.  US Lacrosse provides Tucker Youth Sports, Inc. (as well as most other nonprofit lacrosse organizations) insurance to run our program, etc.  All Tucker Youth Sports, Inc. players and coaches are required to have a valid US Lacrosse number.


Q) What equipment do I need for the Learn to Play?

A) The only required equipment is a stick.   The Learn to Play Clinic is an introductory and fundamental skill development program that uses soft lacrosse balls to keep kids safe.


Q) What age/grade is the Learn to Play for?

A) Boys and Girls in grades K to 8th.   Players are separated by age and skill making the clinic both fun and challenging for all participants.
